LGBTQ+  YOUTH GROUPS

Rocky Mountain Equality offers several groups that LGBTQ+ youth ages 11-18 can join in person in Boulder County or Fort Collins, as well as virtual groups that can be joined from anywhere in Colorado. Those under 12 must have a guardian permission form signed to attend.

MIDDLE SCHOOL GROUP

Mondays 5pm - 7pm MT at 3340 Mitchell Ln, Boulder, CO 80306 A peer support group for LGBTQ youth in middle school ages 11-14. Do you want to connect with other lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ+) people your age? Are you questioning your sexual orientation and/or gender identity and would like to meet others who share similar experiences? Join us every week for discussion, advice, board games, movies, video games, and more! This is a safer space to try new clothes, pronouns, names, and ask questions about being LGBTQ+.

HIGH SCHOOL GROUP

Wednesdays 5pm - 7pm MT at 3340 Mitchell Ln, Boulder, CO 80306 A peer support group for LGBTQ+ high schoolers ages 14-18. Do you want to connect with more queer people your age (14-18 years old)? Would you like to learn more about the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ+) community in a supportive and open environment? Join us in a safer space to socialize, build community, and express yourself through writing, drawing, painting, and performing, and more!

Longmont Queer and Trans Youth Group

Thursdays 4:30pm - 6:30pm MT at 515 Coffman St., Longmont A peer support group for LGBTQ+ youth in Longmont ages 12-18. RMEQ and OASOS hold a youth group that meets in Longmont every Thursday! We bring in community speakers, do small group activities, organize social events, provide art activities, and more. Every week is focused on a different topic, such as GSA leadership, Day of Silence, and strategies for coming out. Allies are welcome and encouraged to join.

Queer and Trans Young Adult Group

2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month 6pm - 8pm MT at 3340 Mitchell Ln, Boulder, CO 80306 A peer support group for LGBTQ+ young adults ages 18-24. Do you want to connect with more lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ+) people your age (18-24 years old)? Would you like to learn more about the LGBTQ+ community in a supportive and open environment? Join RMEQ’s young adult group to play games, make crafts, learn “adulting” skills, socialize, build community, and more!

Book Queeries with Boulder Public Library

First Thursday of the month at 5pm MT at 3340 Mitchell Ln, Boulder, CO 80306 A book club for teens in grades 6-12. Explore LGBTQ+ representation in books! Teens across the gender and sexuality spectrum are welcome to attend and engage in fun dialogue and activities. Snacks are provided.

DROP-IN YOUTH GROUP

Thursdays 5:30pm - 7:30pm at Old Town Library, 201 Peterson St., Fort Collins A peer support group for LGBTQ+ youth ages 12-18 with in-person and virtual attendance options. Our groups are spaces where everyone can feel safe. Teens can meet other teens, make friends, build community, learn skills, and connect with trained facilitators who are there to support them and offer resources. YOUTH DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS VIRTUAL GROUP

Calling all adventurers! RMEQ is working with Rainbow Youth Center to facilitate virtual Dungeons and Dragons campaigns. Spots are limited, so first come, first served. We have several campaigns over several days of the week, meeting twice a month in the evening.

A Discord account is required for participation. Email Lily (she/they) to request to join.
