YOUTH PROGRAM
Rocky Mountain Equality's (RMEQ’s) youth programming strives to help youth thrive and flourish in their personal lives and in the broader community, both now and in the future. The Youth Program offers opportunities for leadership, social justice education, advocacy, volunteerism, social events, and special projects.

RMEQ provides social and educational spaces for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ+) youth and their allies ages 11-18. Those under 12 must have a guardian permission form signed.
SUPPORTING LGBTQ+YOUTH
ANNUAL GIVING TREE
What started as a binder drive for LGBTQ+ youth has grown into a community effort to support our youth during the holiday season – RMEQ's Annual Youth Giving Tree. We know some youth may be unable to ask their parents, family, or friends for what they need due to a lack of support around their LGBTQ+ identities, financial barriers, or other factors.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
-
LGBTQ+ youth (ages 11-18) can request gender-affirming items and other items that bring them joy through this form before December 2.
-
Adult community members can fulfill youth gift wishes by using this form by December 16 so gifts can be delivered.
-
You can also make a cash donation that goes directly to the Youth Giving Tree Program. All financial donations will be used to buy youth gifts that have not been claimed.

Help us make it a great holiday season for LGBTQ+ youth! If you have any questions, please reach out to Rouxan (they/he) at rouxan@rmequality.org.
PAT'S CLOSET
Pat’s Closet is a collection of donations for community members, by community members, and open to any individual seeking gender-affirming clothing. Binders are reserved for those ages 11 to 18.
If you are a youth between the ages 11 and 18 and specifically interested in binders, contact Rouxan (they/he) or call 303.591.1057.

To visit Pat’s Closet, drop by the Equality Center of the Rocky Mountains during normal business hours, or contact Rouxan to schedule a time.
