A Letter from RMEQ Leadership: Our Work Continues, No Matter What

The winner of the presidential election has been declared. Donald Trump will take office in January.

We know this news is frightening for our community, and the truth is that our work to advocate for and support LGBTQ+ people and families just got harder. We are sad and angry, but we are also ready for the work ahead of us. Rocky Mountain Equality will continue to work toward a more equitable and inclusive future for everyone. We are here for you, no matter what.

Today, Wednesday, November 6, we will have two of our offices open for community members to drop in for coffee and to find support.

The Equality Center of the Rocky Mountains

3340 Mitchell Ln, Boulder, CO 80301

9am - 4:30pm

Rocky Mountain Equality’s Fort Collins Office

525 W. Oak St., Suites 3 & 5, Fort Collins, CO 80521

10am - 2pm

As we approach the holiday season and live through the days leading up to January, RMEQ has behavioral health and wellness resources available. If you need help accessing mental health care, we are here for you. Read about our services and financial assistance programs, and reach out to us if you need to.

We are here for you and to help you find the resources you need, no matter what happens next. And we will continue to provide safe spaces for LGBTQ+ people, no matter what.

On behalf of the staff and board of RMEQ,

Mardi Moore (she), Executive Director

Bruce Parker (he), Deputy Director
