Colorado Candidates Share Their Stances on Key LGBTQ+ Issues Ahead of the 2024 Election

As we approach the 2024 General Election, we are constantly reminded that the rights, well-being, and freedoms of Colorado’s LGBTQ+ community are on the ballot.

Every.Vote.Counts.

RMEQ invited candidates running for local and state office to submit responses to questions about key issues affecting LGBTQ+ individuals. Some shared their records and plans, while others did not respond.

We want to share what we’ve learned from those who participated to help everyone make informed choices when casting their ballot.

Our voice is powerful, and voting can help ensure Colorado continues to be a place where diversity is celebrated, and everyone’s freedoms are protected. Whether it’s protecting our ability to make our own healthcare decisions, creating safer schools for LGBTQ+ youth, or fighting discrimination in the legal system, the candidates elected will impact our community for years to come.

Let’s show up strong and vote for the future we want to see!

RMEQ does not endorse candidates – this information is provided for educational purposes and represents every candidate who submitted a response to RMEQ’s questionnaire.
